Very rare French clock with terrestrial and on celestial globe, barometer, thermometer and compas, 1870 A very rare French Industrial Series clock with barometer, compass, thermometer and two globes, one terrestrial and on celestial. The globes turn manually and are set in stands with the thermometer in the middle; barometer above and a compass on top. The terrestrial globes is signed "E. Bertaux, Editeur, Rue Serpente 25, Paris", the celestial globe Delamarche Rue Serpente 25, Paris. Emile Bertaux (1880-1900) was a publisher of international globes of Dien, Dubail, Eichens navisphere, Mars and lunar globes. Bertaux was also a successor to Maison Delamarche, who occupied this adress prior to Bertaux, and originally published Charles Deins's globes (Dekker and van der Krogt, Globes from the Western world).
